LISA CHILDS JOHNSON

 

Lisa Childs Johnson is a skilled management and organizational development consultant with 22 years of consulting experience.  She specializes in diversity, leadership, and communication effectiveness.  Lisa assists leaders in understanding their roles in stimulating organizational change through individual behavior analysis and modeling, personal growth, and productive communication skills.

In addition to providing Executive Coaching, Lisa partners with organizations to increase workforce effectiveness and opportunities by conducting organizational needs assessments and cultural audits, designing interactive diversity and inclusion workshops, and drafting organizational change plans. Lisa is also skilled working with teams to increase communication across functions.

Lisa has a wealth of training experience.  She has conducted numerous public seminars, senior management strategy sessions and training at all levels for a variety of organizations. She has worked with the University of Chicago Hospitals, Columbia-St. Mary’s Hospital, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Fort Wayne Community Schools, Ryerson Tull, Mellon Bank, Sears, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, AT&T, U.S. Steel, Nicor Gas, Northern Trust Bank, Leo Burnett, Price Waterhouse Coopers, the University of Michigan, Microsoft, and Deutsche Bank.  

Early in her career, Lisa was the Administrator of EEO/AA and Education Programs for Premark International, where for 5 years she developed and implemented EEO policy in accordance with business objectives and government regulations.  She also investigated EEO complaints, served as an internal consultant on minority and women’s issues, and provided Executive Coaching on diversity issues.  

Lisa holds a B.S. in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from DePaul University.

Outside of work, Lisa mentors students at Bronzeville Academy and is active in Omega Psi Phi Pearl, an African American service organization.
